The Concept of Miraç and Forties in Alevism

In the Alevi belief, Hz. It is accepted that Muhammad ascended to heaven physically. Miraç is expressed in an anecdotal narrative peculiar to Alevis. In this narrative, the Council of Kırklar also has an important place. What is conveyed on this subject in the commandments is briefly as follows: Hz. On the way to the ascension, the Prophet saw a lion on the way, took it off, gave it to him and continued on his way, reaching Sidretü’l-Müntehâ. Here Hz. Muhammad is given honey, milk and apples. He then converses with God ninety thousand words. Hz. In this speech, the Prophet realizes that the voice addressing him is Ali. Expressed as “Sırr-ı Ali”.

Hz. The speech of the Prophet with Ali in the office of God is explained in the Sharhu Hutbeti’l-Beyân as follows: “Abdullah b. Omar is the thing: I heard, they asked the Messenger of Allah, O Messenger of Allah, in what language did Allah Almighty address you? The Messenger of Allah: Ali b. Ebî Talib addressed me with his vocabulary and inspired this in my heart, I said: O Lord, is it you who is addressing me or is it Ali? My Lord granted me: “O Ahmed, I cannot be the son of Adam. And I am not adjective with questionable objects. I created you from my light. And I created Ali from your light and made the moment clear to the palace of your heart, and I did not find anyone dear to your heart from Ali, even I addressed you with the language of the moment.

Hz. While returning from Miraj, a dome in Mina attracts his attention and he knocks on the door and wants to enter. When he is asked who he is, the door is not opened because he says “my prophet” twice. When he replied, “Sırru’l-kayyûm, I am a hâdimü’l-fiqara, I am a poor person,” he was taken inside. He asks who the people there are. The people there say, “We are forty, we are forty the same”. When he sees that a person is missing, he asks who is missing; they say that Salman is not found. Hz. When the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) asks them for proof, they say, “Forty of us is one, and one of us is forty”, someone gets up and cuts off his arm, 39 blood flows from him. They say that the Pirs of the Forties are Aliyü’l-Murtazâ and their guide is Cebrâîl (as). After a while, Salman comes from outside with a grape. As Sayyidü’l-Hadim, Hz. They ask the Prophet. Hz. With the indication of the Prophet Gabriel, he crushes the grapes and makes sherbet and divides it among forty people. The forties are enchanted and say “Allah” and stand up for a whirlwind and puritan whirlwind. Hz. Even Muhammad gets up for the sema, his imam falls from his head and becomes forty pieces, they take forty and tie it around their waist.

In this lecture, Mr. The experiences of Muhammad when he was taken in cannot be considered as belittling him or seeing him at a level below forty. Here, there is a reference to the understanding of “faqr” and “abandonment”, which express completely alienation from the world and worldly authorities. As a matter of fact, Hz. Muhammad is in the highest position of “murshid” among the forties because he divided the grapes and tied his imam or rida to the waist of the forty people during the semah. Gabriel the guide, Hz. Ali is pir. In some narratives, St. Prophet’s guide Ali is described as a Murshid. What is meant here is St. The guidance of the Prophet as the owner of the gate of sharia, his guidance, the duty of prophecy; Hz. Ali’s mentorship as the owner of the tariqa gate is his guidance to the sufis. In this narrated story, it is almost as if Hz. Muhammad’s mystical identity and his place in the sect are determined. In this narrative, the tradition of relying, which means attaining the rank of mastery in the Ahi-fütüvvet organization, is carried out by Hz. We observe the relation to the Prophet that more realistic and different versions of this take place in Fütüvvetnames. In the Bektashis, the great cem room of the convent is also called “Forty Square” in memory of this meeting, and this event is revived in the cem. The different forms of cem ceremonies performed by Bektashis and Alevis are based on the forty cem ceremonies described in this narration. In cem ceremonies, the phenomenon of mirac was uttered in verse by many Alevi poets under the name of Miraclama and repeated in every cem and almost engraved in memories.
